Badges or Metadata Infused Credentials?
The former is simple and snappy but I think gives the wrong impression (a 'dead metaphor' to quote Doug Belshaw at OER13 earlier this year). The term 'Badge' implies this is all about kids collecting sets of things that grown-ups haven't got time for!
Metadata Infused Credentials makes perfect sense to me and points to a rich future for the idea and implementation of Open Badges.
